Kapı – Door to door

Photographic documentation for this work was conducted in the adjacent Istanbul neighbourhoods of Emniyetevler and Yeni Levent.

The impetus for the project was driven by the significant socio-economic disparity between the two districts. The investigation involved collecting images of entry doors and/or house
façades in both locations, collating them into an artzine and juxta-
posing them to illustrate the observed discrepancies.
