The (photo)book is dedicated to the Philippines, a nation of islands in the Asia-Pacific region. The initial chapters offer a general introduction to the archipelago and the people who inhabit it, pre-
senting in-depth insights into Filipino culture and historical development.

The primary focus of the project is a comprehensive exploration of the Philippine Cordillera and its indigenous Ifugao and Kalinga tribal communities, situated in the northern region of the country’s capital island of Luzon.

All photographs featured herein are courtesy of the author himself, taken on his repeated travels in the area.
